Phil Corcoran (DHL Express)

Phil Corcoran is the Managing Director, responsible for DHL Express operations in Australia
and Papua New Guinea.

Phil has worked in the transport & logistics industry for over 30 years, having launched his
career in Warehouse and Distribution Operations in Adelaide at a leading Australian
manufacturer of home and consumer products in 1987.

Phil started his journey with the DPDHL Group in 1996 in Sydney as a Field Sales Executive
for DHL Express Australia, and continued gaining experience throughout the years in various
sales positions in the region before moving to Fiji as the General Manager DHL Express Fiji &
Pacific Islands, a position he held for 3 years.

In 2005, Phil moved to DHL Express New Zealand, taking over as the National Sales Manager,
where he led the deployment of Global and Asia Pacific sales strategies. After 7 successful
years in New Zealand, in 2012 he returned to Australia as Vice President Commercial DHL
Express Australia. In this role, Phil led a stable, highly successful Sales & Marketing team,
achieving consistent revenue and market share growth, while at the same time delivering very
high Employee Engagement results.

In January 2023, Phil took over as Managing Director DHL Express Australia and Papua New
Guinea. Phil remains based in Sydney, Australia and is married with three grown-up
children.
